William McEntire, CPA

Retired

William McEntire joined Sol Schwartz & Associates in 1983 and has been practicing accounting for 33 years. He is a shareholder and heads our Wealth Transfer Planning practice group. Bill is known for developing and implementing sophisticated strategies to minimize taxes and preserve what his clients have earned.

Prior to joining the firm, Bill worked for a Big Eight firm and a Fortune 500 company. Bill is involved in individual tax and estate tax planning for individuals who have complex business and investment holdings. Bill has extensive experience planning with family partnerships, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable trusts, sales to defective trusts, and other estate planning techniques.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Texas A&M and a B.B.A and M.P.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
