Bennett Allison has practiced in public accounting for more than 25 years. He provides tax planning and tax preparation services to a wide variety of clients. Bennett’s client base includes both local and multi-state businesses. He assists with entity planning/structuring as well as preparation of partnership, S corporation, C corporation, non-profit, and state returns.
Bennett also works with numerous individual clients on income tax and estate gift tax matters. This work includes preparation of individual income tax returns, estate and trust income tax returns, gift tax returns, and estate tax returns. In addition to return preparation, Bennett assists clients with annual tax planning matters as well as multi-generational transfers of wealth.
Bennett earned a B.B.A. in accounting in 1994 and a Masters in Professional Accounting in 1995 from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of our Wealth Transfer Planning Group and Healthcare Services Group. Bennett has authored numerous articles for MD News, the San Antonio Business Journal, and other publications.
The San Antonio Business Journal named Bennett as one of the 40 Under 40 Rising Stars in 2009. More recently, Bennett was also chosen as one of San Antonio’s Five Star Certified Public Accountants. The Five Star Certified Public Accountant award program is the largest and most widely published award program in the financial services industry. Five Star Professional partnered with Texas Monthly magazine to recognize a select group of San Antonio area certified public accountants who provide quality services to their clients. Bennett was previously named a Five Star Wealth Manager on multiple occasions.
