He has been active in numerous taxation committees for the AICPA and the Texas Society of CPAs. He served on the AICPA federal tax division committee on S Corporations, the steering committee of the AICPA National Tax Training School, and chaired the "Task Force to Revise Partnership Tax Laws" for the AICPA. Sol has chaired various committees for the Texas Society of CPAs and has lectured to many groups, including the University of Virginia Tax Law Institute, the Ohio State CPA Tax Institute, and the Texas Society of CPAs. Sol recently earned the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP). This designation was awarded by the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC in conjunction with various state societies of CPAs. In addition to serving his profession, Sol is also active in the community. He has served on the board as treasurer of the Alamo Public Telecommunications Council and on the board of KLRN Endowment Fund, Inc. He was chosen to be one of four members of a blue ribbon committee to review the financial operations of VIA, the local metropolitan transit authority. He is a past president of the Jonathan Netanyahu Academy of San Antonio and a past board member of Congregation Rodfei Sholom, the Jewish Federation of San Antonio, The National Council of Christians and Jews, Camp Flaming Arrow, and Golden Manor. |

Manuel graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs. Manuel is bilingual and, on various occasions has traveled into Mexico to lecture on tax topics related to foreigners conducting business in the United States. He previously served on the board of directors of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Centro Alameda, Inc. and of the Child Guidance Center of San Antonio. He is a member of the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, and currently serves on the board of the Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos and the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio. |

A 1978 graduate of St. Mary's University with the academic distinction of Summa Cum Laude, Jim has taken on several leadership positions in his professional and civic community. He is a past officer and director of the nationwide American Association of Hispanic CPAs and a past president of the San Antonio Association of Hispanic CPAs. He has also served as treasurer of the American Diabetes Association-San Antonio Chapter and was a director on the board of Communities in Schools, where he was awarded Volunteer of the Year. Jim was also awarded Mentor of the Year by the San Antonio Mentorship Association. He is a recipient of the High Five award for community service by KENS-TV Channel 5. Jim is a 1997 graduate of the Leadership San Antonio Program and in 1998 was selected to the Texas Lyceum Association, a statewide organization with a goal to identify and develop the next generation of leadership in Texas. He is a member of the Rotary Club of San Antonio and currently Chairman of their Youth Mentoring Committee. |

Jeff previously served as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Tax Forms Committee, which met periodically in Washington, D.C. with the Internal Revenue Service to submit recommendations for simplification and revision to federal tax forms, instructions and publications. Jeff is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He resides in his home-town of New Braunfels, where he is involved in his church and business organizations, including the Downtown Rotary Club of New Braunfels. Bill earned a B.A. in mathematics from Texas A&M and a B.B.A. and M.P.A. in accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Bill is a member of the San Antonio Estate Planners Council, the Texas A&M University's Planned Giving Council, and the Real Estate Financial Society. Bill serves on the Board of Friends of Big Bend National Park. |

John has been practicing in public accounting for the past 24 years. He joined Sol Schwartz & Associates, P.C. in 1996. His practice emphasis is in the real estate and healthcare industries as well as entities involved in international trade. As part of his commitment to his profession, John has lectured and written on various income tax topics to CPAs and attorneys in San Antonio. He is a past member of the School Council of Antonian College Preparatory High School and continues his prominent role on the School's finance committee. John is an active member of the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio and the World Affairs Council of San Antonio. He is currently on the board of directors and the finance committee of Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc. |
